About Me
Hello, my name is Becky Pilcher, and I am a returning student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) where I am pursuing my Associate of Arts degree. I currently work for my tribal government and hope to further my career by expanding my knowledge and experience through education. I was born and raised in Southeast Alaska where I graduated from High School. I briefly attended Portland State University before transferring to UAF. I resided in Fairbanks Alaska for two years before leaving and spending four years living between five different addresses ranging from southwest Oklahoma to Nashville, Tennessee due to my spouse’s employment. In this time, I experienced different cultural practices, I learned to appreciate my home and family in new ways, I made connections with people from all over the world. It was a time I valued.
